While the main goal of Meals on Wheels is to feed seniors in need, the program, armed with an array of cheerful and caring volunteers, delivers not only meals but also friends.

 (Of those served by Meals on Wheels, 60% live alone, and only 46% report getting out of their home at least once per week)

North Hill aids in the goal of Meals on Wheels that "no senior go hungry" by:

·         Providing a location for program representatives to meet daily volunteers for local meal distribution

·         Providing volunteer drivers and 'runners' from within the congregation one week per each month
